The Neighborhood to Neighborhood Festival was held on Saturday. For 22 years, the N2N Festival has unified thousands of families from the 8th Senatorial District, which spans from Delaware County to South Philadelphia.

The free event centered at 50th Street and Baltimore Avenue, is hosted by the Black Women in Sport Foundation and state Sen. Vincent Hughes. This year, the day-long event featured celebrity women in hip hop: Salt-n-Pepa, MC Lyte and Angie Stone.

In the past, performers have included Common, Robin Thicke, Musiq Soulchild and Mos Def. The emcees for the event were Lady B and Skeet.

There were also rides, games, prizes, moon bounce, face painting sports demonstrations, free health clinics and community resource tents for families and senior citizens.
