The Baptist Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows Union of Philadelphia and Vicinity had a lot to celebrate this past weekend as they gathered at Drexelbrook Catering & Special Event Center in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, for their 44th Installation Service and Luncheon.

They celebrated not only the installation of a new cabinet but welcomed in a new year and a new decade with one of the most diverse groups they have had in years. Installation Chairperson Pauline Moore says their group is full of women at all stations of their lives.

“We have continued to build on our foundation as well as to adapt to meet the needs of today’s ministers’ wives. We have young ministers’ wives, as well as ministers’ widows that range in ages from their 30s to the 90s,” Moore says.
